January 23 is Chinese New year

We here at MAD Family Fun love to celebrate holidays from all over the world and Chinese New Year is almost here! It is the year of the Dragon. Over the next few days we will share with you some fun ways to celebrate this holiday with your family.




What is Chinese New Year? Well, Chinese New Year is the most important of the Chinese holidays, and is a time of feasting with the family, celebration, fireworks and gift-giving. It is a 15-day holiday, beginning on the first day of a new moon and ending with the full moon on the day of the Lantern Festival.
